Boyum IT Solutions, supplier of software solutions for Supply Chain Management (SCM), announced on May 3, 2023 that it will acquire the Danish Product Information Management specialist Perfion.

With the acquisition, Boyum, itself originally a Danish software house, further expands its Supply Chain offering and accelerates its strategy to enable the digital Supply Chain.

With 25 years of ERP experience, the company has managed to attract a large number of customers in 130 countries with SAP Business One (SAP B1).

Boyum has recently entered the world of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with solutions for D365 Business Central.

☛ In 2017 Boyum acquired the Swiss company Beas Manufacturing. Beas Manufacturing for SAP B1 is a manufacturing software solution for small to medium, discrete and process manufacturing companies. The suite offers robust and scalable solutions for streamlining production processes, reducing costs and increasing flexibility.

☛ In 2018, Boyum acquired the Belgian company Produmex. Produmex was a SAP B1 Software Solution partner specialized in Warehouse Management, Logistics and Manufacturing.

With Produmex WMS, Boyum offers its customers a Warehouse Management solution based on SAP B1.

Who is Perfion?

❄ Perfion is a Product Information Management specialist with roots in the world of Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA.

As part of Boyum IT, Perfion will benefit from an extensive global network of software partners to drive the global expansion of its state-of-the-art PIM solution and capture the SAP B1 market.

Perfion fills the missing piece in Boyum's portfolio, a product informatie management solution.

In addition, Perfion can help Boyum conquer the Microsoft market with its solutions for D365 Business Central.

🚀 What is it with those Danish companies?

There is no denying they are loved in the world of automation.

Navision and Axapta, now better known as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management) also have their roots in Denmark (Damgaard).
